Avabodha 2022- Workshop titled “Legal Acumen for HR Leaders”

As part of Avabodha 2022, a Joint Certificate Programme Titled “Legal Acumen for HR Leaders”was organized by the Department of Management Studies (DoMS), NALSAR University of Law in association with Society for Human Resource Development (SHRD), India was held from November 10 to October 15. The six week long workshop was offered to senior HR leaders operating largely from Hyderabad, representing over 100 organizations. The workshop was aimed at providing the HR leaders the requisite legal acumen keeping in view the new labour codes of 2020. Over 200 HR Senior HR leaders participated in the workshop, making it one of the biggest gatherings of HR managers.

The Award Ceremony of Joint Certificate Programme was held  on October 15, 2022 at NALSAR University of Law, ‘Justice City’, Hyderabad. Her excellency Dr. (Smt.) Tamilisai Soundararajan, Hon’ble Governor of Telangana and Hon’ble Lt. Governor of Puducherry was the Chief Guest. Prof.V.Balakista Reddy, Vice Chancellor (I/C) & Registrar, NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, Prof. Vidyullatha Reddy, Head, Department of Management Studies, NALSAR University of Law, Mr Ramesh Mantana, Vice President– HR & Operations, Evoke Technologies and Ms. Indu Madhavi Iragavarapu, Co-Founder, SHRD India graced the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, her Excellency, Dr. (Smt) Tamilisai Soundarajan, said that, “HRs play a very big role in nation building. Today’s fast moving world requires continuous learning and growing and HRs play a big role in facilitating this critical process”. She also added that “a healthy and positive mind is a prerequisite for overall happiness of the society” and lauded Nalsar University for designing and delivering workshops on relevant themes.
