The Department of Management Studies (DoMS) at NALSAR University of Law is anchored by a distinguished and diverse faculty body with expertise spanning multiple domains of management, psychology, law, and allied disciplines. Each faculty member specializes in a clearly defined area of scholarship, ensuring depth, rigor, and contemporary relevance in teaching, research, and industry engagement.
All faculty members hold doctoral degrees (PhDs) from reputed national and international institutions. They are actively engaged in high-quality research, with publications in leading peer-reviewed journals and regular participation in national and international conferences. Their work contributes to both academic advancement and practical problem-solving in organizations and public institutions.
Beyond academic excellence, DoMS faculty members are deeply involved in executive education and professional training. They regularly design and deliver Management Development Programmes (MDPs), workshops, and certification courses for industry professionals, startups, public sector organizations, and government institutions, thereby ensuring strong industry connect and applied learning.
A defining feature of DoMS, NALSAR is its robust and structured faculty mentorship system. Each student is assigned a dedicated faculty mentor who supports the student’s personal, academic, and professional development throughout the programme. Faculty members also serve as internship mentors, guiding students during their internships and helping them integrate practical workplace experiences with academic frameworks and classroom learning.
In the final semester of the programme, students undertake academic research projects, with faculty members allocated as dissertation guides. This close research supervision enables students to develop analytical rigor, methodological clarity, and scholarly discipline under expert guidance.
Through this comprehensive and continuous engagement, the DoMS–NALSAR Unique Faculty Mentorship Model fosters close faculty–student interaction and holistic development. It supports students not only in academic excellence, but also in industry readiness, research capability, and personal growth—making the learning experience at DoMS both rigorous and transformative.
