“The experience at Urmul Seemant Samiti, our NGO, working to change the world of people living in western part, the Thar desert of Rajasthan was a life-changing and enriching one. To get to know a very integral part of society, the farmers and herders of the Rajasthan , learning about their day to day hardships and struggles which they face and most importantly trying to help them in any way possible . We came up with business plan on Slurry, policies like Sexual Harassment Policy in Workplace, Data Protection Policy and many more for the organisation itself and some real life case studies. The best part was the field visits, surreal and full of knowledge in which we interacted with localites. As Intern, we became part such a beautiful family and this internship inculcated the feeling of righteousness and humility before we enter into any profession.”
