“Our internship at People’s Science Institute has been a great learning experience where we worked on the Hindon River Basin Research Project. Understanding the importance of village cropping patterns and time trend maps and then visiting numerous places such as Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, and Meerut and visiting villages along the Hindon river and its tributaries has given us a great insight into how research is conducted and how much effort is put into every single step. We were also able to learn some helpful research techniques such as Resource Mapping and Stakeholder Analysis to understand how multiple factors have a cumulative effect on the water quality of any river.”
