After gaining work experience for nearly two years since graduation, I was looking for a business school where my education would push me to unleash my full potential and consistently prepare a better version of myself. At first, I was skeptical about my decision to pursue higher education after losing touch with daily academic activities. All of my inhibitions faded away when I realized that every day had been a new learning experience for me as a management aspirant from the moment I stepped onto the DoMS campus.
I embarked on this enriching learning journey in June this year, and right from the beginning, I understood the importance of utilizing many possibilities as leverage for success in my professional and personal life. My batch was welcomed through the conduction of excellent sessions graced by prominent personalities from various industries, along with interactive activities hosted by the department’s Media and Public Relations Cell.
During the program, I have been exposed to a curriculum that focuses on the holistic growth of students in business administration and legal awareness through integrating the intricacies of both management and law. This aspect is further facilitated by comprehensible and insightful lectures conducted by highly experienced faculty, who constantly enrich the classroom experience through their unique teaching methods. They have motivated my entire batch to continually improve our competencies by inculcating ideas that cater to concepts such as innovation, strategic management, scalability, sustainability, efficiency, security, and agility.
Apart from acquiring academic knowledge, I am currently developing and improving myself in vital skills such as teamwork, communication, critical thinking, adaptability, flexibility, personality development, and the research and application of theoretical concepts to relevant practical situations of the present by actively participating in activities such as case study discussions, projects, competitions, conferences, and industry talks. The library at NALSAR is an excellent abode of knowledge, where I get access to more than 30,000 titles and 1,85,000 e-books ranging from management to law. With subscriptions to multiple online databases and resources like Indiastat, Emerald Publishing, SAGE Journals, EBSCO, The Economist, Harvard Business Review, Bloomberg Businessweek, etc., the library is a rich source of knowledge that satisfies every student’s inquisitiveness and other academic requirements.
My campus life here has been lively and energetic because of the collaborative activities in various cells, clubs, and events that allow students to develop and showcase their remarkable co-curricular abilities. The university’s diverse student bodies inculcate a multi-faceted campus culture. They also enthusiastically conduct various cultural celebrations, leading to the campus providing many the warmth and comfort of home. From enjoying invigorating walks on the lush green campus to meditating calmly by the lakeside, my experiences have been excellent. Other recreational activities like training in the gym and attending Art Wednesdays help me recharge myself for every new day.
Like the other members of my cohort, I am eager to make my MBA experience at DoMS, NALSAR into an enriching and memorable journey.
