Our MBA student, Sandra Thomas shares her experience of her internship at Edureka .

“As a part of my summer internship programme at DoMS, NALSAR, I got the opportunity to intern with budding ed-tech, Edureka. On the very first day of the internship, the team formally arranged an induction programme for the interns, it was really welcoming, and they adopted the interns to the Edureka family. I was entrusted with end-to-end recruitment, which included handling group discussion sessions for college students, conducting preliminary rounds of interviews, screening candidates, and resolving job applicant issues. The HR Team at Edureka was extremely supportive and friendly, they always made sure that I was on track and supported me throughout my tenure.

This journey has made me understand the value addition made by the HR department to an organization, a lot about the nuances in the recruitment field, and how things could go haywire in an organization without the proper interference of an HR professional. On the very last day of the internship, they bid the interns goodbye with a small session, where they specifically stated all our achievements during the tenure of the internship and congratulated us on achieving targets, though a small gesture from their side, it has definitely boosted my confidence, not just mine, of all the interns for that matter.

And lastly, it made me realize that HR is a profession that requires a zen level of patience and understanding, kudos to the entire human resource team at Edureka! Though I served at Edureka for a short span of three months, the time spent was power-packed with learning experiences and as they rightly put it, big things definitely come in small packages!”
